ski bum! (literally!)

Kirill & Nate went up to Brighton for closing day on Sunday. It sounds/looks like they had a blast with fellow ski bums! They came back a little sunburned & super hungry.

The plan was to grill up some burgers & veggies but the propane grill wasn’t working. A quick trip to Walmart & $40 later, the boys were putting together a charcoal grill in the driveway. The food was delicious as usual!

garage sale

Had a rainy garage sale this weekend. I made an early breakfast and we were making cash by 9:00 am! Not as successful as we had hoped but we definitely had some fun together and will try again next weekend! Going to bed late & waking up early had us all a bit delirious. Great Saturday!

naked & famous

We love new denim day! I bought some Naked & Famous Skinny Guys for Kirill on a whim and they were finally delivered today. Super high quality, raw denim by a company with rad marketing - not to mention they make his booty look gooood. ☺

Trying to save money is hard since we both love to shop & have expensive taste! Any tips? 

arts & crafts

Kirill made me a custom vest last night! Bought the vest at H&M, bleached it to white & added camo and floral panels. It’s absolutely perfect! Took him three hours & he woke me up from a dead sleep at 1:00 am to have me try it on.

He is so talented! I am excited for the opportunities that are ahead of him & to see him be successful doing something he loves. Hopefully he will get an Etsy store up & running in the near future so he can sell some of the things he makes.

I’m a lucky lady to be part of his support team; I will never take that for granted.

Thank God we were able to fit in some fun this week!

Kirill did some street skating with his friends in Downtown Salt Lake and was able to film a short clip and we went on a date with our friends Dan and Quincy to Adult Night at Classic Skating. Hate to brag but I am pretty sure Kirill was impressed by my roller blading skills! Not a single fall!

We experimented in the kitchen and made some lettuce wraps that were delicious! Cooking together is one of our favorite things to do.

Excited for the upcoming week and can’t wait to spend more time with friends before we leave. Everyone seems to be happy for us & that makes all the difference. 

car pool

We’ve been spending a lot of time in the car lately… Kirill has been my chauffeur since my car was totaled in February and it has been quite an experience. He has been running a lot of errands for me lately and I couldn’t be more appreciative. On Sunday, Kirill took me to work at JMR and ended up staying the entire day even though there was 1,000 other things he could have been doing. It was nice to spend time together and fun to watch him talk to customers. Finally found a car so I will be able to drive myself to Starbucks at 8:00 am! Yay!
